Our foundation was formed to honor the memory of David McCarthy, by providing financial support for youth athletics in the Genesee County area.
Local Gifts
The David M McCarthy Foundation is committed to offering grants, gifts and donations to organizations in our community that David called home. We take pride in the diversity of organizations that we have impacted and are passionate about improving the youth athletic experience for all sports, all genders, in all seasons.
The Power Of Sports
We recognize that participating in youth sports can lead to immediate and long-term benefits for not only youth, but also their families, and our community as a whole. Providing scholarships can bridge the gap from athlete to future community leader.
Creating Community
The volunteer leaders of the David M. McCarthy Foundation have raised funds for worthwhile projects in our area, all while cultivating the spirit of community that makes living in the Batavia area special. From our golf tournament to bowing, and other events, the spirit of community is there.
